North Shore Woodlands

Habitat Description:    Gently sloping Yellow Pine and Black Oak open woodland bordered by Lake Siskiyou and open meadows to the East and denser woodland to the West. Plants listed here are typical of most of the woodland margins on the North Shore and may be found throughout this type of habitat.

Note: This list is a work in progress and not a complete botanical survey. Also, as the primary purpose of these observations was for native wildflower seed gathering and photography, the grasses and trees are not covered in these findings.
