sessile basal fleshy coarsely toothed lanceolate leaves surround an erect stem with one to few showy bluish-purple flowers, 4 to 5 recurved petals, split style with 3 recurved lobes etymology- Campan: from the Latin, bell (church), Wilkin's: after Laura Wilkins of the 1898 Merriam expedition to Mount Shasta, who first collected this plant applications- this plant is very rare and should not be collected for herbal or medicinal use. |
